About me
Growing up Dyslexic, Jewish, Queer, and fat, people were always laughing at me — so comedy seemed like the natural next step. At 12, I began participating in open mics and was a founding member of a children's comedy group in my hometown of New Orleans. After turning 18, I moved to Chicago, where my love for directing and writing grew, leading me to create multiple sketch shows, (Too Big for the City, Have You Seen This, CUNT) variety shows, (Left Unattended, Roast of No Longer Topical Celebrities) and direct multiple full-length musical productions (High School Musical 2, It's Grease).
I love theater education and am passionate about making theater accessible to all ages and abilities. I hope to use comedy to help storytellers share the tales in their hearts in a way that works for each individual artist. Everyone has a story to tell.
